Service Support Analyst

  • Location Parramatta CBD with access to hybrid work arrangements
  • 1 x Temporary Full-time role (35 hours per week) and 1 x temporary Part-time role (21 hours per week) for a period of up to six months with the possibility of extension.
  • Salary from $93,295 to $102,941 pa. + super and annual leave loading

Your role

The Service Support Analyst plays a crucial role in maintaining Department of Communities & Justice (DCJ) Records Management system, Content Manager (also known as TRIM). They are responsible for ensuring the accurate, efficient, and secure management of records and information throughout the agency, in compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.

What you’ll do

  • Manage the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Open Text Content Manager (TRIM) system to ensure peak performance and data integrity.
  • Provide user support by troubleshooting technical issues, resolving problems, and delivering training to maximize effective use of the system.
  • Manage and maintain user access, security permissions, and system configurations in alignment with organizational standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate with vendors and ICT support teams to implement system updates, patches, and enhancements, and offer feedback to refine TRIM's functionality.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including user guides, policies, procedures, and technical specifications.
  • Support the design and implementation of integrations between TRIM and other enterprise systems or applications.
  • Continuously assess and recommend new features or improvements to enhance system performance and user experience.


Key Challenges

  • Ensuring the TRIM system remains up-to-date, secure, and compliant with evolving regulations and technological advancements.
  • Promoting a culture of effective records management across the agency, with staff at all levels understanding their responsibilities and the importance of maintaining accurate and accessible records.
  • Balancing the need for efficient access to information with the requirements for privacy, security, and compliance

What we’re looking for
  • Qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a relevant area such as project management, Records Management and operations support.
  • Working with children check clearance
  • A good understanding of the NSW State records Act 1998
