PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Develop, implement and manage asset management plans for Power and Water Corporate assets across the Territory, which optimise asset
performance, risk and maintenance and capital expenditure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The “WHAT” to be delivered
- Define asset maintenance methodology in a corporate facilities and fleet context.
- Develop, implement and monitor appropriate maintenance policies, procedures and plans to work effectively with the Asset Management
System (AMS), including representation at enterprise asset management meetings and forums.
- Plan, schedule and coordinate contractors to investigate, analyse and report on asset failures, performance and reliability.
- Assist in developing and managing maintenance and capital budgets.
- Manage asset lifecycle within Power and Water’s asset and maintenance systems.
- Consult with Supply Chain staff and other stakeholders to identify areas of improvement on existing operational processes.
- Draft executive level correspondence for the Chief Procurement Officer’s review and approval in relation to asset management and
subordinate class plans.

SELECTION CRITERIA
Qualification & Skills Experience
Essential • An AQF Certificate III or equivalent skills, knowledge • Experience in an asset or maintenance management
and experience role within the construction industry
- Advanced problem solving and analysis skills • Sound working knowledge of the principles, practices
- Ability to communicate in both the oral and written and legislation requirements associated with
form, including the ability to effectively explore maintaining corporate and fleet assets
alternatives and negotiate to reach a mutually • Experience in analysis of asset specification, condition

- Highly developed financial and business case • Experience in the preparation of project objectives
