PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Support the effective delivery of asset maintenance plans, capital replacement programs and emergency response to defects or failure of primary
assets through direct coordination with manufacturers, suppliers and specialised contractors, ensuring essential spares and support services are in
place for high criticality primary assets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The “WHAT” to be delivered
- Maintain positive relationships with Service Delivery teams to facilitate the timely delivery of asset replacement plans and repair and
maintenance activities, including acting on feedback to improve maintenance effectiveness and/or efficiency.
- Coordinate planning and procurement activities for specialist service providers or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) resources where
required to deliver maintenance plans or provide technical support for internal teams delivering maintenance tasks.
- Create and update maintenance documentation including maintenance forms and work instructions, to support the effective completion of
maintenance activities, including the identification and prioritisation of defects.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with OEM’s and suppliers to facilitate high level of service and support when needed.
- Coordinate availability and sourcing of critical spares to ensure prompt response to critical assets defect, failure, or planned maintenance
activities.
- Review and maintain the information of critical spares with their stock levels. Proactively initiate procurement activities to maintain the supply
chain through long-term strategic contracts in coordination with Inventory Management and Procurement teams.
- Review the critical spares requirements for major projects and new asset classes. Coordinate with inventory team to create item cataloguing to
maintain the information in asset management system.

Qualification and Skills Experience
Essential • An AQF Certificate III in electrical/mechanical fitter or • Experience in a construction, maintenance or works
