Primary Class Teacher 2025

Newcastle Waldorf School is seeking a full time Primary Class Teacher commencing in 2025 with class 1.

Newcastle Waldorf School is situated in Glendale, NSW. Our vision, also shared by many passionate Steiner schools worldwide, is to embrace the Steiner methodology. We aim to develop a fuller understanding of the positive effects of using the Steiner methodology as an art of educating. We aspire to help young individuals reach their full potential, preparing them for their future with confidence. We wish to deepen our understanding of First Nations culture and our Australian context. We deeply value humanity, nature, and community in all its diversity, and strive to contribute to healing and sharing in the evolving world.
Applicants will have accreditation with NESA and compliance with child protection requirements, including a current WWCC. Ideally applicants will have training or experience teaching in a Steiner School and a willingness to embark on a 7 year journey that takes the class through to High School. Teachers are supported and mentored in their journey of teaching and learning by experienced teachers of the school. The teacher will take Class 1 in 2025, but would be welcome in the school during this year in another capacity.
