Job Summary: The Pest Control Technician provides pest control to all buildings on- and off-campus and properties on a scheduled basis. Must drive from site to site.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of structural pest control experience. Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Final candidates who are not current University of Alabama employees must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications: WDO (Wood Destroying Organism) certification as well as a household pest control from the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries.
