Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinates the preparation and submission of monthly newsletter, reports, and publications. Daily collaboration with the Office for Global Engagement team and student leadership programs providing support on department projects, goals, strategies, initiative, training, etc. Office for Global Engagement knowledge base for all inquiries and functional operations.
- Informs students, faculty, and public of departmental and university services available; handles incoming calls and walk-in traffic; provides correct and accurate information. Maintains security and confidentially in all department administrative support duties. Specialized in record keeping and database management, including: department procedures and decisions, internal team records, etc. Coordinating meetings,/events such as all staff meetings, student leadership trainings, annual retreats, department meetings, etc.
- Performs advanced and confidential administrative support duties, including composing routine correspondence, meeting minutes, and obtaining factual information requiring knowledge of policies/procedures of both assigned and work related areas. Completing detailed monthly and semester reports and working with campus departments and faculty to oversee international travel operations and programming.
- Supports global initiative events and performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degree or any combination of education and/or experience totaling four years.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in English with an emphisis on technical or cretive writing

- Knowledge of creative writting, editing and publishing,
