Job Overview: The Human Resource (HR) Officer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role will support business needs, ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives, and contribute to a positive employee experience. The HR Officer will also ensure compliance with labor regulations and maintain a productive workplace. Key Responsibilities: 1. Recruitment and Staffing: - Manage the full recruitment process, including job postings, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding. - Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires and conduct orientation sessions. - Collaborate with departmental heads to identify hiring needs and workforce planning. 2. Employee Relations: - Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing grievances, concerns, and providing guidance on HR policies. - Foster a positive workplace culture, ensuring open communication between employees and management. - Organize and manage employee events, including training, workshops, and team-building activities. 3. Compensation and Benefits: - Administer payroll, benefits, and compensation programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws. - Conduct market research to determine competitive compensation packages and benefits. 4. Policy Development and Compliance: - Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures. - Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes. - Conduct audits to ensure HR policies and practices are consistently applied. 5. Performance Management: - Implement and manage performance evaluation systems, providing coaching and support to managers. - Develop training programs to enhance employee performance and growth. - Ensure the timely and fair execution of performance reviews and disciplinary actions. 6. HR Reporting and Documentation: - Maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, leave balances, and personal information. - Prepare reports on HR metrics, such as turnover, recruitment, and employee engagement. - Ensure confidentiality and security of employee data. Qualifications and Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. - 1 year of experience in an HR role. - Solid knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, labor laws). - Strong understanding of labor legislation and employment law. - Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point). - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Problem-solving aptitude and a high level of attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: - Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) is a plus. - Experience in [insert relevant industry, if applicable]. - Knowledge of multi-cultural environments or experience working in international settings.
