JOB ADVERT FOR THE ROLE OF CLEANING TECHNICIAN
JOB TITL: CLEANING TECHNICIANS
JOB LOCATION: IBESHE, IKORODU, LAGOS STATE
JOB TYPE: ON – SITE, FULL-TIME
RESPONCIBILITIES
1. Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
2. Review work schedules.
3. Creating and managing team schedules.
4. Timeously requesting for cleaning materials, consumables & equipment’s.
5. Evaluating performance and providing feedback.
6. Manage a team’s progress and maintain a positive environment.
7. Help to resolve employee issues and disputes.
8. Report to the line manager.
9. Ensure all staff are aware of the health and safety policies and procedures.
10. Sources for new staff within his/her jurisdiction to manage cases of down time
11. Train new hires.
12. other duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in preferably in mining or industrial sites.
2. Basic knowledge of industrial cleaning procedures and familiarity with heavy machinery.
3. OND/NCE/DIPLOMA/HND or any other qualification.
4. Familiarity with industrial sites safety standards and hazardous material handling.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCY
1. Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, prolonged standing, and working outdoors.
2. Ability to operate pressure washers, hand tools, and other cleaning equipment.
3. A commitment to safety and attention to detail.
4. Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.
5. Ability to train and induct new hires.
6. Ability to use rotary, pressure washer and vacuum machines.
7. Good time management, team management, workflow and project management.
8. Ability to listen to and understand information.
9. Ability to implement and adhere to standards and procedures.
10. Good interpersonal skills, decision making, verbal and written communication.
11. Ensure that a first-class cleaning service is delivered to all areas of the building.
