Job Summary: The HSE Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring a safe working environment by developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. The role involves compliance with safety regulations, conducting safety audits, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, programs, and procedures.
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Train and mentor employees on HSE practices, procedures, and regulations.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure all HSE incidents are reported and properly documented.
Maintain records of safety-related incidents and actions.
Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
Monitor and assess the safety performance of contractors and subcontractors.
Coordinate emergency response plans and drills.
Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HSE role.
Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g, NEBOSH, OSHA, HSE Level 1-3).
In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
