Job Description

We are recruiting to fill entry level service delivery roles at the APS3/APS4 level in Wadeye, Northern Territory.

Successful candidates will be required to work from the Wadeye Service Centre. The main duties of these roles are not able to be undertaken remotely.

These roles have a strong involvement in issues relating to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people and will involve direct interaction with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities.

To be considered for these jobs, you will need to have a good understanding of issues and challenges affecting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people, and be able to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.

As a new team member you are not expected to know everything at once. You will learn to understand and explain Centrelink, Medicare or Child Support payments and services to customers when they come into your local Service Centre.

You will help your community when they need to access government services. To do this, we will train and support you.
