PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Provide project management and stakeholder engagement support to the Regulation Economics and Pricing team to facilitate regulatory
proposals and projects within Power and Water and across various external stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The “WHAT” to be delivered
- Lead project management of regulatory proposals and projects including project planning development and evaluation, governance,
identification of resources and constraints.
- Execute and completion of regulatory proposals and projects while adhering to budget and agreed timeline constraints.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of special projects including process and procedure improvements from
development, execution and completion while adhering to budget and agreed timeline constraints.
- Responsible for the effective communication of project status updates and risks to Regulation Economics and Pricing management
to ensure effective program delivery.
- Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Responsible for monitoring, tracking, the control of outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, resourcing, dependencies, and critical path
to deliverables to mitigate impact to successful delivery.
- Facilitate the engagement of stakeholders at all levels during the project life cycle to gain commitment.
- Preparation of papers necessary for management purposes, e.g., steering committee or Board papers, memorandums, ministerial
briefings, legislative assembly briefings.
- Secretariat for regulatory and project committees, and management of consultant activities and contracts.
