POSITION SUMMARY

Omni Executive are seeking a Project Scheduler to provide embedded, specialised, knowledge-based services to the Australian Government. The Project Scheduler will provide technical, professional and policy advice in relation to complex work schedules and contribute to strategic planning, program and project management, identify, anticipate and respond to stakeholders’ needs and expectations in order to achieve project outcomes and develop and manage a program schedule in the Defence environment to support complex capability procurement.

Essential Requirements
The below key requirements are required to be demonstrated by all employees to Omni.
  • Be an Australian Citizen
  • Hold a current Negative Vetting 1 Australian Government Security Clearance or be willing to obtain one
  • Have excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills

In addition, this role will require:
  • More than two (2) years’ experience scheduling in the Defence environment with strong scheduling and project management experience.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the One Defence Capability System (formerly the Capability Life Cycle)
  • Proficiency in the use of Open Plan Professional (OPP) Software not less than Version 8
  • Experience working in a Defence Capability Acquisition and Sustainment group (CASG) environment
