  • Salary: $75,545 to $79,385 FTE + super + salary packaging

Your Opportunity
The Happy Healthy Minds Program is dedicated to supporting children and young people aged 0 - 18 years by providing a comprehensive range of early intervention services aimed at addressing and minimizing the impact of mental illness.
Our services encompass vital mental health supports, specialized case management, targeted therapeutic groups, and community development activities.
We are looking for individuals who excel in providing case management for clients who may be challenging to engage. Creativity, flexibility, and persistence are essential qualities in achieving positive outcomes for these clients.
Although this is not an identified position, we strongly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
  • Respond to referrals of clients to the service and complete intake assessments.
  • Work with clients to create individualised case plans.
  • Work with other services in a collaborative approach to case management.
  • Attend case conferences.
  • Coordinate and facilitate a range of individual and group support programs.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with community and government services.
  • Share knowledge of local networks and best practise with team members
  • Complete a range of required administration tasks including reports and audit activities.
Requirements for Success:
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in human services industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of case management and experience working with young people and/or families
  • Understanding of mental health or experience in that field
  • Knowledge and understanding of issues facing vulnerable children, young people and families.
  • Understanding of domestic and family violence, its complexities and consequences, particularly as they affect children, young people and families.
  • Computer literate in a Microsoft office environment
  • Excellent oral written communication skills
  • Current Drivers Licence
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
