The Role
As an APS 5 Case Management Officer, you will undertake the following tasks:
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for case management and stakeholders.
- Ensure submitted requests are complete and all required information and documentation is provided.
- Undertake assessment of cases against policy, procedures and all relevant data sources to identify risks and potential mitigations.
- Make recommendations to the delegate clearly and concisely articulating relevant factors.
- Support the ongoing development of assessment and risk management processes.
- Manage records in accordance with relevant legislation and Defence policies and procedures.
- Identify and respond to stakeholder information and records management requests and provide timely advice.
- Engage with relevant stakeholders to achieve best practice and where appropriate share risk assessments and trend analysis.
About our Team
Security Policy and Services Branch is looking to welcome motivated individuals to support the assessment of foreign work authorisation requests under the Safeguarding Australia’s Military Secrets framework.
The branch is looking for a number of Case Management Officers to assess foreign work authorisation requests and make recommendations to the delegate based on best security practice.
