Solutions Advisor

Solutions Advisor:
Rx Benefits Solutions Advisor role supports our dynamic Go To Market strategy and facilitates success in bringing our best-in-class Products to meet our customer’s most critical pharmacy benefit needs. Supporting the New Business Development Executives and Account Managers, this role will be the Product expert, handling in-depth Product meetings with new and prospective customers, conducting presentations and demonstrations of our solution during meetings and events. The Solutions Advisor will be a strategic thinker who is hyper focused on understanding the needs of the customer and understanding the intersection between our solutions and those needs. You will create plans, deliver presentations, and demonstrate how our unique Product solutions can facilitate achievement of their pharmacy benefit goals. The Solutions Advisor is the trusted advisor to Rx Benefits prospects and clients, showing how the Rx Benefits solutions address client business requirements.
Essential Job Responsibilities Include:
  • Accountable for product positioning/adoption within the Rx Benefits current and prospective customer base.
  • Partner with new Business Development/Account Management, and/or Clinical resources to develop strategy for put the right Products in front of current and prospective clients.
  • Develop and deliver outstanding demonstrations of the Rx Benefits products, clearly articulating the value they bring and how they align with customer needs.
  • Lead all aspects of the Product sales process, advising internal and external audiences on Product solutions.
  • Support Business Development/Account Management in conducting Discovery and gathering customer requirements.
  • Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying appropriate Products to client business goals, strategy and needs.
  • Facilitation of client Product understanding through presentations and demonstrations; provision of support throughout the upsell or new sell opportunity.
  • Develop long lasting and high-quality business relationships with our clients and broker partners by instilling trust and confidence through strategic acumen and in-depth Product knowledge.
  • Maintain a deep partnership with Product team resources, engaging in Product discussions, development, training and deployment to ensure products translate to the needs of our clients.
  • Work directly with clients, in partnership with account management and business development team members, to understand their requirements and goals.
  • Provide knowledge transfer from sales process to the onboarding and operations teams to ensure client requirements are clear and implementation is a success in meeting those expectations.
  • Presenting at client meetings, events, virtual webinars and other forums.
  • Support Product knowledge for Account Management and Business Development resources as well as other appropriate internal roles.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Team resources on appropriate client needs and opportunities to ensure the right resource and right solutions are brought to the table.
  • Engage in ongoing efforts to maintain knowledge of the Rx Benefits product offering, maintaining expert level status on all new and existing Products.
  • All other duties as assigned


Required Skills / Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Product sales or solution type role (or Subject Matter Expert)
  • Pharmacist’s degree preferred
  • Pharmacy benefits industry expertise including clinical and technical background.
  • Experience developing solutions to meet clients most important goals and address their most critical problems through a Product solution effort.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly the intricate details of the most complex products, translating that expertise into understandable information to a less-technical audience.
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced sales environment, working under pressure to achieve goals.
  • Strong critical thinking skills that facilitate sounds strategic approach to serving the customer’s needs.
  • Salesforce experience required.
  • Exceptional partner in collaboration with key sales and account stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze key data points to understand opportunities for solutions to address customer need.
  • Capability to handle multiple and competing priorities.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills; able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical personnel, leveraging this ability build relationships.
  • A passion for learning and a willingness for taking on new challenges.
