Reporting to the NANA Worley Board, the President of NANA Worley will be responsible for development and execution of the strategy and business plan for the company. The successful candidate will develop a vision and plan in support of the company's mission and objectives and to drive revenue, profitability, and growth.
The President will have senior most management responsibility for safe company operations and ensure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
Impact and Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute the strategic plan, as reviewed, and approved by the Board.
- Lead the overall formulation and administration of company policies, directing and coordinating all business activities to support revenue and profitability targets.
- Regularly review performance against the plan, leading senior management actions necessary to achieve goals and objectives.
- Develop, implement, review, and track performance against the company plan.
- Develop the company’s annual fiscal budget.
- Review and approve budgetary planning and implementation, joint venture financial reporting, and capital expenditure submissions.
- Control costs, achieve budgeted margins, and improve the company’s bottom line.
- Regularly interact with existing and potential customers to identify and capture new business opportunities.
- Leverage Worley’s global capability to deliver solutions for customers in Alaska.
- Manage talent by selecting, developing, organizing, and directing people in key roles, ensuring a strong talent pipeline for the future.
- Communicate corporate direction, company health, strategy, vision, and mission to all NANA Worley employees and staff.
- Exercise wisdom and sound judgment in decision-making, ensuring actions are appropriate, reasonable, timely, and realistic for the company.
- Maintain a high degree of integrity, acting in alignment with strong principles and values, and having the courage to stand by convictions.
Qualifications and Abilities
- University Degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 15+ years of leadership and management experience in engineering, project delivery, EPC or a related industry.
- Strong business acumen with strategic thinking capabilities, able to develop and implement strategies for long-term success.
- Proven track record of operating with the combined interests of a partnership and its joint venture owners, while adhering to business plans and strict governance.
- Innovative thinker with demonstrated business development skills, capable of identifying new business opportunities and driving growth.
- Ability to direct company performance toward growth and profitability, while fostering a positive and productive working culture.
- Strong safety orientation, with a commitment to promoting and adhering to safe operating principles, as well as regulatory and contractual HSE obligations.
- Customer-focused with a proven ability to engage with clients, respond promptly to their needs, and meet commitments in a timely manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, confidentiality, active listening, and effective communication.
