Occupational Medicine Technician
Division: Capstone Employee Health and Occupational Medicine, a department of Medical Network of Alaska

What You’ll Do:
The Occupational Medicine Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of occupational health testing procedures and supporting the medical provider with their patients.
- Prepares treatment rooms for the examination of patients.
- Comply with regulatory agency rules and regulations to ensure federal, state, and local compliance.
- Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to handle and implement change with minimal disruption.
- Perform patient triage and vitals.
- Perform and/or understand all clinical services division technical aspects, including audiograms, RMA/PFTs, FCEs, and fit testing.
- Collect samples on-site.
What You Need For This Job:
- High School Diploma or general education degree
- EMT II/III, Paramedic preferred; CMA preferred; 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CPR/ First Aid Certification
- Must reside in or near Wasilla, Alaska.
- Have general knowledge of EMR software and Outlook Programs
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to frequently stand; walk; sit; stoop; kneel; crouch; crawl.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
