Position Summary:
Contribute to attracting and admitting the best applicants into Tisch School of the Arts Special Programs and meet enrollment targets. Recruit, evaluate, and participate in the selection of candidates for admission. Maintain relationships with all organizations and individuals involved in the admissions process. Maintain admissions databases. Develop public presentations designed to promote the institution. Advise parents and applicants about educational planning and processes.

Required Experience:
2+ years experience in admissions or related student services including staff supervision, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:
2+ years in a creative, professional, or academic environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organization, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with a diverse population. Working knowledge of standard office software, including Microsoft Office and Google Suites. Ability to work independently, troubleshoot, and deal with issues/challenges in administrative operations.Familiarity with digital communications, spreadsheet, and database software. Familiarity with a web-based application. Passion for, understanding of, and commitment to inclusion, diversity, belonging, equity, and accessibility.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong customer service skills. Highly creative with the ability to develop new ideas, policies, and processes. Proficiency with database applications. Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Slate and Peoplesoft.
Additional Information:
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $80,300.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
