Housing Coordinator (Refugee Resettlement)
Job Summary
The Housing Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a housing facility, ensuring the smooth functioning of all housing-related activities and services.
Duties
- Implement and enforce housing policies and procedures
- Conduct assessments and interviews to determine housing needs
- Provide addiction counseling and crisis intervention services
- Maintain accurate records of tenant information and lease agreements
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8, LIHTC, and other housing programs
- Utilize software such as One Site and Yardi for property management
- Handle tenant inquiries, issues, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Negotiate leases and rental agreements with tenants
Experience
- Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques
- Strong knowledge of addiction counseling principles
- Familiarity with housing laws and regulations
- Experience with property management software like One Site and Yardi
- Understanding of Fair Housing regulations, Section 8, LIHTC programs
- Ability to handle crisis intervention situations effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year
