Front Desk Clerk
We are looking for a charismatic and energetic desk clerk, who has a desire to enhance the guest experience, while making sure registration is accurate and payments are secured.
The front desk clerk is responsible for answering the telephone, booking reservations, modifying reservations, learning the property's PMS system to its fullest capacity, handling guest requests and guest complaints. Service recovery is a huge aspect of the position.
Our clerks are responsible for ensuring proper registration, such as getting up to date and accurate information, securing credit card payment, balancing cash drawer, and keeping the lobby tidy.
This position is primarily for days, 7 AM- 3 PM, but you must be available to assist evening shift on weekends (Fridays and Saturdays) from 3 PM- 11 PM.
Must be a responsible, dependable, punctual individual, who can wear a uniform and handle a fast-paced environment. It is a benefit to have previous hotel experience or clerical/reception experience. Must be fluent with computer functions, with an ability to type at a good pace.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
