Digital Marketing & Analytics Specialist Job Summary: The Digital Marketing & Analytics Specialist will play a key role in managing digital ad campaigns, optimizing website performance, and strengthening our online presence across our resorts and hospitality venues along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. This role focuses on managing Google and Facebook Ads, setting up and maintaining tracking, and providing insights to improve engagement and visibility. The specialist will also oversee our Google Business profiles to ensure that each property’s information is accurate and engaging. We’re looking for a proactive, data-driven team member who thrives on optimizing performance and supporting business goals through digital strategy. Key Responsibilities:
Digital Advertising and Campaign Optimization:
Manage ad budgets across Google Ads and Facebook Ads, focusing on visibility, engagement, and conversions.
Track ad performance, analyze results, and provide recommendations to improve return on investment (ROI).
Tracking and Performance Analytics:
Set up and maintain tracking mechanisms, including event tracking and conversion tracking on websites and email platforms, ensuring full functionality of Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics.
Monitor email marketing metrics such as open and click-through rates, providing insights to enhance future campaigns.
Regularly audit tracking systems to ensure accuracy and reliability for data-driven decisions.
Competitor and Market Research:
Conduct ongoing competitor analysis and study market trends to inform our digital strategies and stay ahead of industry changes.
Use insights from market research to refine digital campaigns and identify new growth opportunities.
Campaign Testing and Funnel Optimization:
Test and optimize campaigns across search, social, content, and display channels, focusing on customer engagement, cost efficiency, and lifetime value.
Implement improvements within conversion funnels to enhance user experience and elevate overall performance.
Google Business Profile Management:
Update and maintain Google Business profiles, ensuring accurate hours, location details, and fresh imagery for each property.
Keep listings aligned with brand standards to boost local search presence.
Dashboard Creation and Data Reporting:
Develop and manage dashboards for data presentation to department heads, enabling informed decision-making.
Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights to support business goals.
Ideal Candidate Qualities:
Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, and email analytics, with strong experience in setting up and optimizing tracking tools.
A data-oriented and proactive mindset with a desire to drive business impact through digital strategy.
3+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Clear and persuasive communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to various stakeholders.
Adaptable, organized, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic marketing team.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position, with occasional flexibility needed for weekend or holiday events in the hospitality industry.
Local travel along the Gulf Coast may be required to support different properties and events.
