Cobra Fleet is looking for experienced Auto Painters to join our team as we open a brand new location. In this role, you will oversee and execute the painting and refurbishment of fleet vehicles, ensuring top-tier quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Take ownership of the painting process, from overseeing the detailed preparation through to the application of base and clear coats, ensuring excellent results.
Advanced Painting: Apply base coats, clear coats, and specialty finishes, ensuring precise color matching and smooth, seamless finishes.
PDR Collaboration: Work with PDR technicians, supporting dent removal processes and ensuring proper surface preparation for repairs.
Auto Body Repairs: Perform advanced body repairs, including blending and feather-edging, to ensure a professional, flawless finish.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other high-level painters and assistants to maintain workflow and uphold high-quality standards across the team.
Quality Assurance: Inspect completed work, addressing any issues and ensuring vehicles meet high-quality standards before delivery.
Equipment Management: Maintain and calibrate all painting tools and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Qualifications:

Extensive Experience: Proven experience in auto body repair and painting, with expertise in advanced painting techniques.
PDR Knowledge: Experience with Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) processes is a plus.
Collaborative Skills: Ability to work within a team of skilled painters and assist in coordinating projects for maximum efficiency.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency with specialized painting equipment, such as spray guns, buffers, and polishers.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure top-quality finishes and high standards of work.
