We are an established real estate owner/management company in business for almost 90 years. We are looking for an ACCOUNTING CLERK to join our team on Long Island! Primary Functions: · Receiving and recording checks for deposit; · Calculating interest; · General filing duties which include bank statements, vendor records, correspondence; · Scanning; · Assist with monthly recurring transactions; · Bank runs when necessary; · Review all accounts payable outgoing checks for accuracy; · Reconcile bank transactions; · Keeping Cash Controller organized and provide administrative support; Qualifications
· Associate’s Degree is preferred but not necessary;
· Prior accounting clerk or admin experience is required;
· Must be highly organized and detail oriented;
· Track, manage, and adhere to strict deadlines;
· Able to manage multiple tasks at a time, knowing how to prioritize tasks and get the job done;
· Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills;
· Must have reliable mode of transportation;
