Administrative Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our team in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role is essential for ensuring smooth office operations and providing excellent support to our staff and those that we serve.

Duties
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling phone inquiries with professionalism.
  • Assist in proofreading documents to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Handle clerical duties such as filing, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Utilize Quick Books for basic accounting tasks as needed.
  • Exhibit strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Communicate with team members, staff of other emergency services agencies, and the members of the general public as needed.
Skills
  • Proficiency in office software applications, including word processing and spreadsheet programs.
  • Strong proofreading abilities to ensure high-quality documentation.
  • Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Experience with clerical duties in a professional setting.
  • Familiarity with Quick Books is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to manage time effectively while juggling multiple responsibilities.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
