Sales Person

Position Title: Sales Person
Location: Ajah / Lekki
Reports To: Sales Manager / Sales Lead
Employment Type: Full-Time / Commission-Based

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Person to join our team and focus on the sale of gas cylinders. This position offers a commission-based structure, rewarding you for driving sales and building strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for delivering top-notch service while achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Customer Acquisition:
Actively seek new customers and develop relationships within the assigned region.
Promote and sell gas cylinders to both residential and commercial clients.
Understand customer needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.

  • Sales Targets and Commission:
Achieve and exceed set sales targets on a monthly or quarterly basis.
Earn commissions on sales made, in line with the company's commission structure.

  • Product Knowledge:
Maintain a deep understanding of the gas cylinders and related products.
Educate customers on the proper use, benefits, and safety standards for gas cylinders.

  • Customer Service and Retention:
Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.

  • Market Analysis:
Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify new sales opportunities.
Stay updated on product developments, promotions, and pricing strategies.

  • Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
Report regularly to the Sales Manager on sales progress and performance metrics.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a product-based industry (experience with gas or related products is a plus).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Knowledge of the local market and customer preferences is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for travel).
  • Basic knowledge of safety protocols related to gas cylinder handling (training will be provided).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From ₦70,000.00 per month
