Job Title: Store General Manager

Job Summary:
As a Store General Manager (SGM),, you will oversee all operational, financial, and personnel activities to drive the performance and growth of your assigned store(s). This role demands a proactive leader who can ensure consistent adherence to company standards, maintain an excellent customer experience, optimize financial performance, and inspire team members in a fast-paced quick service restaurant (QSR) environment. Reporting directly to the Area Manager, the SGM will champion quality, efficiency, and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
Ensure smooth daily operations, meeting high standards in food quality, customer service, cleanliness, and safety.
Implement and monitor adherence to operational procedures and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Oversee inventory management, ordering, and stock control to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce wastage.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage store budgets, monitor financial performance, and achieve revenue, cost, and profitability targets.
Analyze sales, expenses, and profitability metrics, and implement action plans to maximize performance.
Identify and implement cost control measures and improve efficiencies across operations.
Staff Leadership and Development:
Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a positive work culture and high team morale.
Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and support career growth through coaching and mentoring.
Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage while minimizing labor costs.
Customer Experience:
Maintain a customer-centric environment that provides outstanding service and promotes customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Handle escalated customer issues with tact and professionalism, ensuring quick resolution and a positive outcome.
Sales and Marketing Support:
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement local promotions and initiatives that drive traffic and sales.
Analyze customer feedback and market trends to make data-driven decisions that enhance customer experience and sales.
Quality Control:
Monitor food preparation processes to ensure that standards of quality, presentation, and portion control are met.
Ensure all equipment and facilities are in good condition and promptly address any maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field; or equivalent experience in restaurant/store management.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a managerial role within the QSR, retail, or hospitality industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales and profit targets in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and restaurant management software (preferred).
Demonstrated ability to manage staff scheduling, labor costs, and inventory efficiently.
