Asset Manager- Lagos Mainland
Fixed Asset Management
Pay: ₦550,000.00 - ₦650,000.00 per month
Experience:
- Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring all assets are accurately recorded with relevant details such as location, acquisition cost, depreciation, and useful life.
- Ensure compliance with IAS 16 standards, including capitalization, revaluation, depreciation, and disposal of assets.
- Monitor and manage the entire lifecycle of assets, from acquisition to disposal, ensuring all activities are accurately documented and accounted for in the Fixed Asset Register.
- Work with the finance team to ensure depreciation and asset valuations are calculated correctly, supporting accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
- Conduct regular physical asset audits to verify the accuracy of the asset register, ensuring that all assets are accounted for and tagged correctly.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance asset longevity and reduce downtime, with regular reviews of maintenance schedules and costs.
- Oversee repair, refurbishment, and replacement of assets, ensuring that these activities align with asset management policies and are accurately reflected in the asset register.
- Supervise all company facilities, ensuring they meet operational, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement to source materials and manage vendor relationships, ensuring assets are maintained cost-effectively and meet quality standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with IAS 16 standards in asset recording, capitalization, and financial reporting.
- Prepare asset management reports for executive management, detailing asset values, depreciation, and maintenance costs.
- Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets against misappropriation or unauthorized disposal.
- Conduct regular compliance assessments and audits to ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Support the finance team in preparing audit documentation related to assets and assist with asset-related inquiries during internal and external audits.
Pay: ₦550,000.00 - ₦650,000.00 per month
Experience:
- Accuracy of Fixed Asset Register:: 4 years (Preferred)
- ICAN/ ACCA (Required)
