Customer Service Assistant- Restaurant -CMS & Oniru
Primary Duties:
Actively engage with customers, greeting them warmly as they enter the restaurant.
Ensure customers are satisfied with their dining experience, responding to their needs and inquiries promptly. Identify and address any immediate concerns or complaints raised by customers.
Conduct regular check-ins with customers during their visit to gather feedback on the service, food quality, and overall experience.
Regularly clean the restaurant's lobby and dining areas to ensure cleanliness and comfort. Regularly inspect the restroom facilities and take immediate action to address any issues.
Communicate customer feedback and work with the management team to resolve issues quickly, ensuring customer satisfaction is restored.
Monitor common pain points to proactively anticipate customer needs thereby offering solutions before problems arise. Collaborate with the team to prevent future occurrences.
Follow up with customers after resolving any issues to ensure they are satisfied with the outcome.
Educate customers on promotions, specials, and new products to enhance their dining experience.
Observe the interactions between customer-facing staff and customers, providing constructive feedback as needed, and conduct shift-based briefing sessions for all customer-interfacing staff on customer service best practices. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and a customer-first mentality among all employees.
Secondary Duties:
Identify any operational issues that could lead to customer dissatisfaction, such as slow service, menu item availability, or equipment malfunctions, poor lobby management and take immediate action to correct these issues or escalate them to the appropriate department for resolution.
Assist customer interfacing staff i.e. cashiers and servers during peak hours to reduce customer wait times, manage customer queues, and improve seating arrangements for better flow and reduced congestion.
Assist in promoting special events, deals, or new menu items to customers by distributing promotional materials and explaining ongoing offers to encourage additional purchases.
