Due to expansion, they need a DEPUTY WAREHOUSE MANAGER Job Location: Lagos Job Responsibilities ∙Warehouse Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the facility is clean, structured, and well-organized. ∙Inventory Control: Conduct quarterly stock counts and ensure accurate record- keeping of stock levels and movements. ∙Logistics Coordination: Organize and coordinate domestic logistics, including outsourcing trucks for product deliveries and ensuring timely shipments. ∙Order Processing: Ensure accurate preparation of products for outbound delivery, issue waybills, and confirm all necessary documentation. ∙ERP Management: Enter inventory, stock movement, and delivery data into the ERP system for accurate tracking and management. ∙Safety & Security: Ensure the safekeeping of all warehouse products and enforce safety standards within the facility. ∙Audits: Facilitate internal audits and ensure compliance with warehouse processes, stock integrity, and regulatory standards. ∙Team Management: Supervise warehouse staff, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to proper procedures and safety protocols. ∙Customer Coordination: Work with customers and their logistic partners to ensure timely and accurate loading of their orders at the warehouse. ∙Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, optimize layout, and enhance processes for better inventory management and faster turnaround times. ∙Budget Management: Monitor and control warehouse-related expenses to ensure operations stay within the allocated budget. ∙Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., health and safety, fire codes) and provide regular reports on staff performance, logistics, product conditions, facility cleanliness, and any inventory discrepancies to management. Job Requirements ∙Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field. ∙Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. ∙Strong knowledge of inventory control and ERP systems. ∙Excellent leadership and team management skills. ∙Proficiency in Microsoft Office and prior experience with ERP systems. ∙Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. ∙Fluent in English and local language Job Type: Full-time Application Question(s):
