Job Description Our client is a foremost commercial bank in Nigeria. Due to expansion, they are in need of a PROJECT MANAGER. LOCATION: Lagos RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and cross-functional teams.
Identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor potential impacts on project outcomes.
Resolve project issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and budgets.
Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure efficient project execution and adherence to quality standards.
Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects stay within financial constraints.
Provide regular budget updates to stakeholders and recommend adjustments as needed.
Track and analyze project performance, including KPIs and other metrics, to ensure project goals are met.
Prepare regular project status reports for senior management and provide insights into project progress.
Ensure all projects comply with regulatory and bank-specific standards.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and historical records.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or any relevant field (MBA or PMP certification is a plus).
Proven experience in project management within the banking.
Strong understanding of commercial banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira) and financial tracking systems.
