Due to the team expanding new opportunities are now available, we are currently seeking a talented and experienced Traffic Engineer to join our growing Transportation Team.
Here you will be working on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects, be part of a supportive and collaborative team culture where your ideas are valued. We have a strong commitment to developing and upskilling people within a flexible and supportive working environment. Relocation assistance can be provided to any candidate relocating to the Hawke’s Bay for this position.

The key areas of responsibility include:

The key areas of responsibility include:
- Road Safety and Traffic Management – Be the Traffic and Road Safety Campion for Council!
- Prepare and manage transportation budgets for traffic and road safety projects etc
- Responding to customer enquiries, build and maintain working relationships etc
- Take a lead role in preparing, managing and delivery of projects

- Relevant bachelor level degree in Civil Engineering/Transportation/Traffic Engineering or similar
- Road Safety and Traffic Engineering experience
- Knowledge of intelligent road safety and traffic management systems technology and applications
- Knowledge of traffic operations theory and practice
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
