Guest Service Assistant (Bellman)
Location: George Town, Penang
Requirements:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia preferred.
· Diploma or Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management.
· SPM level applicant also are welcome
· Minimum 1-year working experience in the Front Office role.
· Fresh graduate applicants also are welcome.
· Proficiency with Hotel PMS (Property Management System) and MS Office
· Good customer service and interpersonal skills
· Strong customer service skills, good physical stamina (for carrying luggage), excellent communication, and a professional appearance
Responsibilities:
Guest Service Assistant
· Welcome guests upon arrival and assist them through the check-in process efficiently.
· Ensure the check-out process is conducted under the Hotel's SOP, including settling guest accounts, processing payment, and issuing invoices.
· Address guests' inquiries and requests promptly, and provide personalized recommendations and assistance to enhance their stay experience.
· Handle guest complaints in a professional and tactful manner
· Maintain an accurate record of guest interaction, reservations, and financial transactions in the hotel management system.
· Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports regularly.
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction is achieved.
Bellman
· Greet guests and assist with the transport of luggage to and from rooms, valet areas, or cars.
· Provide a warm welcome to arriving guests and a courteous farewell upon their departure.
· Assist with guest inquiries, provide local area information, and help with booking transportation, or other guest needs.
Be visible and available in the hotel lobby to provide assistance to guests, keep the lobby area clean, and report any security issues or maintenance needs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
