Chef

Job Position: Kitchen Chef
Overview: The Kitchen Chef is responsible for overseeing food preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This role involves menu planning and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and create menus that align with seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking, ensuring dishes are made to high standards.
  • Maintain inventory of food supplies and order ingredients as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor kitchen performance and address any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with other staff to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
  • Experiment with new recipes and presentations to keep the menu innovative.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment/F&B industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
  • Willing to work at Cameron Highlands
Skills:
  • Excellent culinary skills and creativity in menu development.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for cooking and dedication to quality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
Supplemental Pay:
  • Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Cameron Highlands: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
  • Chef: 2 years (Preferred)
