The Virtual Engineer will play a critical role in the design and execution of construction projects by creating and updating detailed construction drawings using various Autodesk software applications. This position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, a solid understanding of structural engineering principles, and the ability to produce high-quality construction documents that adhere to project specifications and timelines.
Job Description

Create and update construction drawings using Autodesk software, including Inventor, Auto CAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and Fusion.
Work closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure the accuracy and detail of construction documents.
Utilize strong knowledge of structural engineering principles to interpret and implement design specifications effectively.
Maintain high attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of drawings and compliance with project timelines.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients and contractors, to resolve design or technical issues.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in software to continuously improve design processes and workflows.
Contribute to project coordination and problem-solving efforts within the construction industry.

Required Qualifications

Previous experience in generating and maintaining detailed models to produce accurate construction documents.
Proven experience in creating steel details, mechanical drawings, and structural steel drawings.
Proficiency in Autodesk software, including:

o Inventor
o Auto CAD
o Revit
o Civil 3D
o Fusion

Familiarity with shallow foundation drawings and understanding of design requirements and specifications.
Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
High level of attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy of drawings and adherence to project timelines.
Ability to stay updated on industry trends and software advancements to improve design processes and workflows.
