The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing all digital aspects of a cub portfolio company’s SEO/SEM/CMS/in-bound & out-bound digital marketing, and social media coordination. Responsible for overseeing the publication of compelling content across social, mobile and web platforms to drive engagement. This role will collaborate closely with the marcom team to understand digital campaign target audiences and campaign objectives. This position will require creativity, technical proficiency, and a keen eye for detail to publish high-quality content and visuals that resonate with portfolio company audiences and align with marcom guidelines. Oversee development of visually appealing graphics, illustrations, infographics, and animations for social, mobile, and web platforms, aligning with portfolio company guidelines and campaign objectives.
Collaborate with the marcom team to understand digital needs, target audience, and project requirements.
Work with marcom team to create engaging social media posts, including static images, animated graphics, and video snippets, to enhance clients' social media presence and drive audience engagement.
Consistently monitor and update SEO/SEM efforts to improve digital engagement across social, mobile, and web.
Produce weekly SEO/SEM/traffic performance reports to assist the sales and marcom teams in making data-driven decisions.
Ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms and adapt designs to fit various social media platforms.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand feedback, incorporate changes, and deliver digital solutions that meet expectations.
Collaborate with the marcom team to brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and content strategies.
Maintain an organized file management system for design assets, ensuring easy access and version control.
Provide digital support and assistance to the broader marketing team as needed.
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in creating visually appealing designs across various mediums.
Proficiency in CMS platforms like Shopify.
Proficiency in SEO/SEM platforms like SEMRush and Ahrefs, google ad words, etc.
Proficiency in on-page technical SEO/SEM best practices.
Working knowledge of digital ad platforms like Google ads and Facebook ads such that you manage 3rd-party vendors.
Knowledge of social, mobile, and web digital layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web.
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, In Design, and other graphic design software
Ability to analyze design briefs, interpret client needs, and develop design solutions that effectively meet project objectives.
Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of SEO/SEM for portfolio companies.
Ability to work autonomously, manage projects from concept to completion, and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
Effective collaboration skills to work harmoniously within a team environment, contributing to collective goals and project success.
Proficient time management and project management abilities ensure efficient workflow, task prioritization, and timely delivery of projects.
