About Loyalist Country Inn & Conference Centre
The Loyalist Country Inn & Conference Centre features 82 clean, comfortable, and fully appointed rooms, an indoor pool, fitness center, business center, 24-hour front desk, and an onsite restaurant/lounge offering room service. Other amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and parking. We're also a prime location for meetings, conferences, weddings, and events, and can efficiently accommodate each.
The Duties
About Loyalist Country Inn & Conference Centre
The Loyalist Country Inn & Conference Centre features 82 clean, comfortable, and fully appointed rooms, an indoor pool, fitness center, business center, 24-hour front desk, and an onsite restaurant/lounge offering room service. Other amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and parking. We're also a prime location for meetings, conferences, weddings, and events, and can efficiently accommodate each.
The Duties
- Collaborate with Food & Beverage Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of food and beverage operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
- Train, supervise, and mentor staff to maintain MHG’s quality standards.
- Collaborate with Food & Beverage Manager to develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service team to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control for all food and beverage items.
- Ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislation and health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with Food & Beverage Manager to coordinate and oversee events, banquets, and other functions to ensure flawless execution.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment by overseeing the cleanliness of the bar, dining area, and equipment.
- A leader with a positive and outgoing personality who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player who loves building strong relationships with team members, guests, and the community.
- Enthusiastic about learning and sharing knowledge, particularly about craft beer, wine, and culinary trends.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passionate about creating memorable guest experiences and fostering a fun atmosphere.
- Previous experience in a food and beverage management role is required.
- Responsible beverage certificate is required.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of Aloha POS or similar systems is an asset.
