Your Opportunity
Stuart Lodge in Alice Springs offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness. With 33 rooms and up to 68 beds, the facility provides comprehensive support services, including assessment, case coordination, and case management.
As part of the team, you’ll play a key role in providing practical support, day-to-day supervision, and ensuring a positive and safe environment for residents.
This is a 24-hour service, therefore applicants must be available to work morning (9am-5pm), evening (5pm-11pm), & overnight (11pm-9am) shifts when required.
Your key responsibilities will be to:

Establish positive working relationships with clients.

Assist team members in the provision of practical support to clients such as transport and continuous monitoring.

Assist clients with basic needs and support clients in a sensitive and culturally appropriate manner.

Assist team members with client compliance to program rules and responsibilities.

Undertake basic administrative tasks in accordance with instructions.
Requirements for Success
-
Previous experience in a similar position.

Experience working with Aboriginal communities with an understanding and respect for the culture

Be computer literate in Microsoft programs

Be willing to work as part of a roster which includes nights and weekends

Senior First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain would is desired
