A little about the role Reporting to the Director of People, the People Business Partner will act as the focal point for all people related matters for their assigned portfolio areas, supporting these areas across all HR strategic, advisory and operational services. This role has a senior HR generalist focus, managing people-related activities across the employee life cycle, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, manager capability uplift, managing performance management and other employee relations matters, supporting employee wellbeing, managing change processes and HR analytics and reporting. Other key responsibilities include:
Be a lead in the implementation and ongoing review of capability and development processes, providing managers with training, guidance and ongoing support in the application of capability and development of their teams.
Develop and maintain highly effective stakeholder relationships with leaders, establishing a reputation for being a trusted advisor.
Assist with devising and supporting people and culture programs and projects that align with the deliverables of the organisational strategy.
The base salary for this position is $115,000 - $120,000 /annum (based on 1.0FTE) + super + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. This position is full-time, ongoing. This role can be based at any of our offices, nationally.
About you You will come with significant generalist Human Resources experience and a relevant undergraduate qualification in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Psychology, Law or similar. You will also come with demonstrated knowledge and experience in strategic and operational Human Resources, and ability to develop and implement projects, initiatives, policies and procedures. The below would also be highly regarded:
Prior experience in the social services/community services sector.
Experience with registration/licensing requirements for a children, family and/or disability services organisation.
Tenacious, diligent and resilient with the ability to adopt a creative approach to problem solving in a fast-paced environment.
