Interpret and manage construction contracts, ensuring adherence to terms, conditions, and obligations.
Oversee contract administration processes to guarantee compliance and document control.
Effectively communicate with internal teams and stakeholders, providing clear and concise documentation of contractual matters.
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure a cohesive understanding of contractual requirements.
Identify and address issues related to contracts, working proactively to find solutions.
Collaborate with project teams to resolve any discrepancies or challenges that may arise during the contract lifecycle.
Manage variations to the original contract, ensuring proper documentation, approval, and communication.
Process and manage progress claims submitted by contractors, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payment.
Maintain organized records of variations, delays, and other project-related events.
Utilize documentation for reporting and as a basis for any necessary formal claims.
Qualifications: - Appropriate qualification or more than 3 years’ work experience in a similar role - Proven experience in contract administration, preferably in the construction or related industry. - Strong understanding of contract interpretation, administration processes, and relevant legislation. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with various stakeholders.
