You will be part of an awesome team delivering effective internal and external governance to support aged care reform through internal and external councils. This is an interesting and high-profile area, with a high level of Executive exposure and contact with representatives of older people.
This role is critical to the business support and ministerial communication in the support of Governance secretariat functions. The APS 6 will be part of the team tasked to provide high level secretariat support to internal committees such as the Aged Care Transformation Program (ACTP) Steering Committee; and external committees such as the Council of Elders (Co E) and the National Aged Care Advisory Council (NACAC).
The role will lead and assist in providing logistic and administrative support and manage various tasks within the Governance team, including stakeholder management, secretariat and forward workplan management and facilitation of Aged Care reform. The candidate will require excellent attention to detail and the ability to plan and prioritise their workload, lead a small team and lead departmental coordination tasks in support of committees.
