The Role
This role is part of a Human Resources (HR) team led by a Personnel Capability Officer at Headquarters Joint Operations Command. This team is responsible for supporting the Commanding Officer with Incident Management, Welfare and Complex Case Management.
Key day-to-day tasks include:
- Conduct Incident Fact Finding and Draft Terms of Reference for Fact Finding.
- Coordinate interviews for Fact Finds as required.
- Entering and managing incidents on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/Case Management.
- Update and maintain the incident register.
- Update the weekly Incident Summary Report.
- Prepare Unit and Individual Welfare Boards - coordinate with Australian Capital Territory Health Centre (ACTHC) Welfare Boards, JHUSNSW Mental Health and rehab etc. Coordinate and dispatch consent forms and agenda.
- Update and Maintain the Welfare Board Register.
- Coordinate Commanding Officer’s calendar for Military Employment Classification Review Board (MECRB) Determination Debriefs.
- Update and Maintain the MECRB Determination Register.
- Dispatch and file signed MECRB Determination briefs.
About our Team
This position forms part of the Base Operations team in support of the Commanding Officer of Headquarters Joint Operations Command. The position does not have any subordinates and the supervisor will be a junior officer Air Force Personnel Capability Officer. The Base Operations team delivers human resource, logistics, operations and security services to Headquarters Joint Operations at the General John Baker Complex at Bungendore.
