Technical Advisor
to work in our
Arlington, VA

ECS provides Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in a dynamic environment pursuing impactful and cutting-edge research. We're seeking Physicists with experience in a Do D environment to join our team in support of the DARPA mission. We are searching for someone to focus on new program development and analysis support for ongoing program management.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analysis of emerging science and technology R&D opportunities.
- Conducting first-principles analysis.
- Generating briefing materials and agency documents.
- Program management at all stages over the program life cycle.

Candidates must display:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to work on tasks quickly, efficiently, and independently.
- Collaborate in a team atmosphere.
- Passion for science, technology, and learning different disciplines.
Requirements:

Active Do D secret clearance or the ability to obtain.

Master's degree with 10+ years of industry experience.
- Conversant in topics including quantum optics, physical chemistry, high-energy/particle physics, and AMO (atomic, molecular, optical) physics.
