Position Summary:
The Housing Maintenance Worker position emphasizes building maintenance and repair, residential turnovers, and preventative maintenance. The maintenance worker performs skilled and semi-skilled tasks across various trades, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, building maintenance, and automotive repair and maintenance. Typically, the work is conducted independently, without direct oversight from a skilled tradesperson.

Required Qualifications:
● 3-5 years of experience in General building maintenance experience in one or more of the following trade areas: carpentry, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, and welding
● Must be able to read, understand and follow university policies and staff handbooks; State of Oregon health codes; machine operations manuals; applications instructions/manuals for cleaning solutions; Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), building policies; cleaning and sanitation procedures and directions.
