Your Role at Baxter
THIS IS WHERE you build trust to achieve results! The Remote Service Specialist will be an intricate position in Technical Support and will have responsibility of executing proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of connected devices as part of Smart Care Remote Management. This position will determine necessary action to resolve any device alerts received that includes software updates, complaint documentation and follow-up, and service work order dispatch and basic troubleshooting of product and user platform issues.
This is a full-time position where the working hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM EST- 5:00 PM EST.
The candidate would conduct a Hybrid model where they would report to the Batesville, Indiana office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and work from home on Monday and Friday.
Occasional on-call and overtime may occur.
What You'll Be Doing:
Execute the set-up and support of Remote Service customers through Smart Care Remote Mgmt.
Proactively monitor devices for error codes, basic troubleshooting, and software upgrades.
Troubleshooting and resolution of platform user issues e.g. password resets and user access issues.
Service dispatch for warranty, contract, and fee for service work.
Complaint documentation and follow-up for customer resolution.
Basic technical and general information inquires
Assisting internal and external customers with Remote Service connectivity implementation.
What You'll Bring:
High School diploma or equivalent required
3-5 years of job-related experience
Customer service experience
IT help desk experience preferred
Basic technical aptitude including service manual and parts breakdown understanding

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $41,600 to $57,200 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
