The Payment Technician is responsible for processing payments for Employment Networks (ENs) Social Security Ticket to Work Program. The successful candidate will provide instructions to ENs about their payments and distribution. They will provide information to ENs with professionalism, precision, and appropriate sense of urgency. In addition, this position will work closely with the Sr. Payment Specialist to ensure all deliverables are accomplished.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to EN Payment Inquiries regarding status of payments, clarification of policy and assist Processing EN Payments.
- Evaluate and Review all request reimbursement and cost by ENs and SVRAs to ensure compensation is made in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
- Assists SSA in creating automated payment utilizing their i TOPSS system.
- Adhere to Performance Requirements.
- Provide EN’s with updates ensuring compliance with timeline expectations.?
- Making the ENs aware of other services and actions that may lead to greater success.
- Keeping up on trends, changes, and competitor actions that might affect payments.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

This position is under the SCA classification. The salary for this position is $20.81 per hour plus $4.22 in Health and Welfare.
