- Bachelor’s Degree
- 12 semester hours of college credit in early childhood development, child development, child psychology, or the equivalent or hold CDA credential or Montessori Certificate
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Alaska Driver’s License required
- Required to have CPR and First Aid
- Prior experience in after school, licensed day care center, or summer program management and coordination
- Familiarity with Alaska Administrative Code for Licensed Childcare Centers and or 21st Century CCLC or willing to learn
- Successful supervisory or management experience
- Ability to use personal computers and related software
- Background and experience in budget preparation, financial forecasting, billing and collections
- Knowledge of principles and practices of daycare program management
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

SUMMARY:
The primary function of the RALLY Supervisor is to provide sound management to the Juneau School District’s childcare and enrichment program focusing on Recreation, Arts, Learning and Leadership for Youth (RALLY). This is an exempt position and is not represented by any bargaining unit.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

This is a full-time 12-month, salaried position, working 37.5 hours per week. Range L on the Classified Exempt Salary Schedule, starting at $66,952.08 per year. Placement on the salary schedule is dependent on relevant experience and education. We offer an excellent benefit package including medical, dental, vision, the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) plan, and paid time off. This position is not represented by a bargaining unit.
