Production Finance executive for Series supports Apple Studio’s original video content efforts worldwide. The Production Finance Series executive reports to the Head of Production Finance and assists in the financial oversight and management of Apple TV+ productions.
Description
• Assist in the financial management of the budgeting, reporting, forecasting and daily production activity of Series productions • Oversee timely production cost reporting and analyze actuals vs budgets cost reports to ensure accuracy and quickly resolve any issues • Collaborate with Creative, Business Affairs and Legal in the creation and vetting of production budgets and strategically resolve issues to ensure an efficient process • Identify Production Tax Incentive opportunities, oversee and track estimates, timing of receipts and required audits. • Review production cash flow projections and funding requests for accuracy and compliance with contracts. • Assist in the contract review and cost analysis process in conjunction with Production, Business Affairs, Legal and Labor • Ensure productions follow Production Finance policies and procedures • Manage the setup of production accounting payroll and systems software • Ad hoc financial analysis as needed
- 7+ years experience in Series television production finance management and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with production tax incentives and related filing process
- Working knowledge and experience with union/guild agreements and production payroll
- Proficiency in production accounting software (Smart Accounting, PSL), Movie Magic Budgeting and Excel
- Ability to establish partnerships with producers and production team
- Proactive thinker who is able to prioritize and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Detail oriented with strong organizational, teamwork, problem solving and communication skills
- Bachelor degree preferred

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $161,200 and $242,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
