The Generative AI Platform Team is building Gen AI capabilities which include knowledge discovery, conversational capabilities, workflow automation, developer productivity, and more. Our mission is to increase the productivity and efficiency across Apple’s Business Units. As Product Manager, you will partner with software engineers, program management, data scientists, solution architects, and various business units to build new products and features.
Description
Define, build, launch, and land the next-generation of Gen AI inferences for Apple Enterprise Teams. Own the product strategy, roadmap, product experience, and performance. Research best in class industry approaches to help deliver a world class platform and experience. Discuss complex industry-specific business concepts with executives, managers, and technologists Work with Apple Enterprise Teams to articulate customer user journeys, use-cases, and their workflows for Gen AI inferences, their difficulties and how Gen AI can address their constraints. Understand the technical problems and dependencies, partner with multi-functional teams to ensure effective product launches and deliver a product experience. Partner closely with Engineering to bring the Gen AI products to market, land it with customers, define and measure success, and bring back findings to the feature teams to set the product strategy and priorities. Master’s in Computer Science, Math, Business or related field of equivalent plus 5+ years experience. Track product performance via KPIs to understand usage, accuracy, and performance
- BS in Computer Science, engineering, or technical related field or international degree equivalent
- At least 5+ years of technical product management
- 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
- 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
- 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
- 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, or other internal customers.
- A creative problem solver with an excellent ability to influence without authority
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s in Computer Science, Math, Business or related field of equivalent plus 5+ years experience.
- Experience with presenting to audiences of 5 to 50 people of various levels (from developers to executives) with various backgrounds (business, technical, operations)
- Manage and prioritize roadmaps using OKR methodology
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
