As part of our World Wide Operations Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) group, you will be responsible for implementing strategies, and processes, that enable the business to grow, increase efficiencies, and drive innovation while improving customer experience. You will be driving key initiatives, developing solutions with IS&T partners that support a broad cohesive operations supply chain strategy. Most important, you will be free to innovate, challenge the norms and drive transformation. The ideal candidate will have deep process re-engineering experience and be self-directed, motivated, and comfortable working in an extremely fast-paced environment. Experience with large scale transformation initiatives involving Procure to Pay and Quote to Cash B2B e Commerce (E2E) processes as well implementation experience leveraging SAP Ariba, SAP Commerce and SAP S/4 HANA is preferred. Flexibility and adaptability are key attributes needed for success. This individual should also have strong analytical, project management and leadership skills to handle a variety of activities and complexities spanning the organization. You are willing to work at both a very detailed and strategic level.
Description
The candidate will be responsible for leading and identifying business process re-engineering opportunities, solutions architecture, and working with partners to implement the solution in SAP. This role requires a deep understanding of core operations throughout the supply chain to manage complex, global initiatives supporting a wide range of initiatives. Success requires an individual to think strategically, connecting the dots of the bigger picture, as well as being comfortable in the details of the all key deliverables. Successful team members are consummate team player capable of working with cross functional business teams to identify improvements and deliver capabilities that will exceed our customers expectations Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In BPR, we work closely with the business teams to become functional leaders in Procure to Pay and Quote to Cash process, including, allocation planning processes, inventory management, order management, fulfillment and reverse logistics. Identify transformation opportunities and partner with business and IS&T to lead projects through the full Software Development Life Cycle - from mobilization to problem definition, scoping, requirements, design, business readiness, testing and implementation. As an architect, you will also focus on strategic POCs, technical and functional assessments, projects related to supply chain transformation initiatives. Negotiate with x-functional teams and business partners to remove barriers and drive results, without compromising the overall quality of the end deliverable. Engage with leadership, business partners, and engineering teams to develop a project timeline, key achievements, and a communication plan. Prepare the business for the change: Ensuring from the very start of the project, there is a change management plan in place. Ensure project objectives have been met and proper project closure with complete lessons learned. Understanding and analyzing the business problems at the root and not just solving for the symptom, is critical to the success of this role. You will focus on recommending process innovation and efficiencies through process analysis and building prototypes. Use cases, observations, industry trends, standard methodologies (Design Thinking, Six Sigma, Lean), leading-edge technology and process improvement ideas to challenge the status quo and deliver extraordinary customer-focused solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree required, MS (in relevant fields like Computer Science & Engineering)
- 5+ years of experience leading global senior teams and responsibility for a diverse project / program portfolio.
- 5+ years of experience leading complex groundbreaking corporate programs, budgets, organization change management and executive reporting.
- Experience with Supply Chain processes in Quote to Cash and Procure to Pay, in high-tech / consumer electronics / retail industries.
- Led transformation projects in Procure to Pay and Quote to Cash process, and developing innovative solution in the SAP Ariba and SAP Commerce platforms.
- Strong experience with partner management, program design/management, and change management as it related to evolving ERP project management standard processes.
- Proficient knowledge of the systems implementation and development life cycles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of leading strategic programs, combined with the ability to implement at tactical project-level activities and tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence, at multiple levels of cross functional organizations.
- Led teams and change management strategies in driving process improvement projects
- Proficient at leading multiple efforts simultaneously in a global capability including working with international teams.
- Excellent leadership skills that improve teams efficiency.
- Motivates team members to produces work product of the highest quality with minimal review by supervisor.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to adapt one's style based on the level of the audience.
- Prior consulting experience with Big 4 Consulting Firms is desirable, but not required
- Six Sigma and PMP certification is a plus
- MBA preferred
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $184,300 and $277,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
