Responsible for a wide variety of administrative and accounting duties supporting payroll shared services team and other miscellaneous functions necessary to support the payroll team.

Mas Tec Renewables group is part of the Mas Tec Clean Energy & Infrastructure business segment. Mas Tec’s Clean Energy and Infrastructure Group (CE&I) is a $4 billion annual revenue business unit that provides construction services for industrial facilities; building products manufacturers, power generation facilities, manufacturing plants; solar, wind, and thermal energy plants; buildings, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Monitor, manage, and organize the payroll inbox
Respond to payroll inquiries by phone and email in a timely and professional manner
Manage incoming mail
Review and update necessary information for new hires, rehires, and service line transfers
Communicate effectively, professionally, and confidentially with employees, team members, sites, and other departments
Review, evaluate, and process late time sheets/back pays from previous weeks
Assist with report review to confirm accuracy of system integrations
Maintain basic knowledge of SOX controls
Assist the HR Department with any questions or issues related to Payroll items
Provide feedback and recommend solutions for a more efficient and streamlined processes
Maintain a level of professional inquiry and apply critical thinking skills when receiving employee banking information to identify, communicate, and reject fraudulent requests to protect company assets
Assist other team members where needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Associate degree or equivalent in Accounting or a Business-related area is preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Great customer service skills
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
